Job summary

Curries, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is growing and seeking skilled Machine Operators for our Mason City, Iowa facility on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will operate presses, CNCs, and production equipment to manufacture hollow metal doors and frames with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, technical certification or relevant experience is a plus.
• Previous machine operation experience.
• Ability to carry 5-30 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to read manufacturing or shop drawings.
• Ability to use and read a tape measure.
• Available to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machines per procedures.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specs.
• Perform routine adjustments and minor troubleshooting for optimal machine performance.
• Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain production records and document operational data.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic equipment care.
• Keep work area clean and 5S compliant.
• Collaborate with team, maintenance, and supervisors to resolve issues.
• Other duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
