Curries, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking skilled Machine Operators for its Mason City, Iowa facility on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will set up, operate, and monitor presses, CNC equipment, and other production machines to build hollow metal doors and frames with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent / Technical certification or relevant experience is a plus.
• Previous machine operation experience
• Ability to carry 5-30 pounds without assistance
• Ability to read manufacturing or shop drawings
• Ability to use and read a tape measure
• Available to work overtime

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor machinery such as presses, CNC equipment, or other production machines according to established procedures.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Perform routine adjustments and minor troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges to verify product dimensions.
• Maintain production records and document operational data as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic equipment care.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts.
• Collaborate with team members, maintenance personnel, and supervisors to resolve production issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
