Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions seeks dependable Machine Operators to join a manufacturing team on 1st shift in the Greater Chicago-land area. You will set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic machines, including robotic assembly equipment, and maintain production quality. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm. Starting pay rate of $18/hr.

Qualifications

Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment with accuracy and quality.
Feed materials into machinery and pull finished products from the production line.
Adjust machine settings and perform minor repairs as needed.
Accurately follow and interpret instructions and technical drawings.
Complete production and testing documentation with a high level of accuracy.
Meet production routing times for assigned jobs after training.
Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing processes.
Be willing to work overtime with little to no notice when required.
