Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions seeks dependable Machine Operators to join a manufacturing team on 1st shift in the Greater Chicago-land area. You will set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic machines, including robotic assembly equipment, and maintain production quality. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm. Starting pay rate of $18/hr.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment with accuracy and quality.
• Feed materials into machinery and pull finished products from the production line.
• Adjust machine settings and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Accurately follow and interpret instructions and technical drawings.
• Complete production and testing documentation with a high level of accuracy.
• Meet production routing times for assigned jobs after training.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing processes.
• Be willing to work overtime with little to no notice when required.
