Job summary

New Flyer in Shepherdsville, KY is seeking a skilled Machine Operator, 1st Shift, to support production of high-quality parts. Responsibilities include operating and setting up machines, inspecting output with precision tools, maintaining production records, and ensuring safety and compliance on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to operate machines and manual equipment.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine equipment as required for production.
• Set up machines according to job specifications, including tooling changes, alignments, and calibration.
• Monitor machine output to ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct inspections and measurements using precision tools.
• Maintain accurate production records, including job settings, output quantities, and quality control data.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
