Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Production Packer for 1st shift to weigh, fill, label and package liquid chemicals. You’ll use SAP and Manufacturing Execution System to track inventory and ensure accuracy while following GMP and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or prior manufacturing experience.
• 1 year of chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP recommended.
• Must be able to tolerate strong odors and allergens.
• Ability to be on your feet for 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and fill liquid chemical materials according to instructions and recipes.
• Follow packing procedures including scanning to validate materials and precision weighing.
• Utilize Weight Assisted Computer; MES; and SAP for inventory and data entry.
• Use SAP to inventory containers, input pack-out data, and confirm quantities.
• Adhere to labeling protocols and properly seal and dispose of damaged labels.
