Job summary

The Production Packer – 2nd Shift at dsm-firmenich in Princeton, NJ, ensures precise weighing, filling, and labeling of liquid chemicals. You will maintain inventory and quality control via SAP and Manufacturing Execution System while adhering to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities include accurate weighing and filling per recipes, scanning validation, and proper labeling. You will work with a team to keep a clean, compliant workspace and support GMP/HACCP standards daily.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1 year chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and fill liquid chemical materials into containers according to instructions and recipes.
• Follow packing procedures including scanning to validate materials and precise weighing with weight-assisted computer systems.
• Utilize SAP and Manufacturing Execution System for inventory, pack-out confirmation, and scrap loss tracking.
• Print and place labels correctly, select label sizes, and dispose of damaged labels appropriately.
• Close containers, crimp as needed, and apply tamper-evident seals.
