DSM-Firmenich in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Production Packer for the 3rd shift to weigh, fill and label liquid chemical products. You will use SAP and MES to track inventory and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or manufacturing experience, GMP/HACCP knowledge, ability to stand 8 hours, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A comprehensive rewards package includes health care, retirement, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 1 year chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
• Must be able to tolerate strong odors and allergens.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Frequently lift a 35 lb product hose and up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and fill liquid chemical materials into containers according to instructions and recipes.
• Follow packing procedures including scanning materials to validate and proper labeling of containers.
• Utilize Weight Assisted Computer, MES, and SAP systems for inventory and packing data.
• Print/reprint labels and apply tamper-evident seals as required.
• Crimp containers and ensure proper disposal of damaged labels.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols.

Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location.
