Materion Corporation is hiring a Leveling Machine Operator to support coil handling, machine setup, and quality control on the production line in a metalworking environment. The role requires reading process sheets, adjusting machine parameters, and ensuring conformance to specifications.

You will measure material with precision tools, monitor speeds with dial indicators, and collaborate with Scheduling & Maintenance to resolve production issues. SAP data entry is also part of daily duties.

Formación

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a metals industrial setting preferred.
• Experience in use of micrometers and other precision measurement tools.
• Previous leveling machine operation experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Handle coil loading and unloading from skids; measure gauge and width with devices.
• Set up leveling machine from process sheets; adjust parameters and use lubrication.
• Adjust machine set-ups to reshape products and reduce defects.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for conformance to specs.
• Read production orders, blueprints, and mill schedules to determine setup specs.
• Monitor speeds using dial indicators; regulate machine mechanisms.
• Collaborate with Scheduling & Maintenance on production issues.
• Enter data into the SAP system.
