Job summary

Employment Solutions is hiring a Lathe Operator / Spot Welder for our client’s sensor production team in Wallingford, CT. This role involves operating lathe machinery, performing spot welding, assembling small fluid sensor components, and inspecting finished products.

This full-time, temp-to-hire position offers $18+ per hour, a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and a hands-on, precision manufacturing environment with potential for long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, lathe, or spot welding experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with small, detailed components.
• Ability to understand basic measurements, including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathe machinery to shape and modify small components.
• Perform spot welding according to specifications.
• Assemble small fluid sensor components.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Read and follow work instructions and basic drawings.
• Meet daily production and quality goals.
