RC Industries is seeking a Laser Operator in Elkhart, IN for a full-time third-shift role. The candidate will operate lasers to produce quality parts per print and manage material handling and basic machine programming. Emphasis on safety, 5S discipline, and data entry in Visual for job tracking.

The position requires 2+ years using small to mid-sized tools, basic math, reading blueprints, and strong English communication. Mentoring teammates and supporting lean initiatives are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2+ years with small to mid-sized tools and measurement
• Experience in quality is a plus
• Able to read and follow work instructions and blueprints
• Fluent in English, able to fill out forms and paperwork
• Ability to work with lifting devices and operate cranes

Responsabilités

• Load and unload the lasers.
• Program and run the laser machine and ensure it operates continuously.
• Move materials with a forklift.
• Conduct in-process checks and report defects to frontline leader.
• Maintain 5S practices and complete labor reporting in Visual.
• Participate in safety meetings and lean manufacturing activities.
