Job summary

NyproMold, a Jabil company, seeks a Laser Engraving Operator to set up, run, and maintain laser engraving for precision components. The candidate will interpret engineering drawings, program engraving sequences, and ensure markings meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn laser engraving software.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser engraving equipment per drawings and specs.
• Review orders and drawings before starting work.
• Position parts in fixtures with accuracy for engraving.
• Create/modify laser engraving programs per job requirements.
• Inspect engravings for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Use measuring tools to verify locations and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Follow procedures, quality standards, and safety rules.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Manufacturing to resolve issues.
• Support continuous improvement in quality and productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
