Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC in Altoona, PA is seeking a Client Services Technician to support the sample receiving department in our environmental testing laboratory and to receive training that builds a long-term laboratory science career. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle shipments, verify paperwork, and log samples into our system, with PPE provided and workplace safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong preference towards candidates with previous customer service, shipping, or warehouse experience.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required. We'll train you!
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods, work around strong odors, and wear required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves - all provided by Pace)

Responsibilities

• Receiving shipments of samples
• Unpacking the sample coolers
• Verifying the samples against the customer's paperwork
• Logging the sample into our system
