Job summary

Planes in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to support a consumer products research facility. The role covers installation, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and testing of residential and commercial laundry appliances in a lab setting.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of appliance repair experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to read maintenance procedures. Full-time position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience repairing household and commercial appliances.
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills.
Experience working with washers, dryers, and dishwashers.
Ability to read and follow technical procedures and maintenance documentation.
Ability to safely move and install large appliances.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, calibrate, and test residential and commercial laundry and dishwashing appliances in a laboratory environment.
Troubleshoot appliance failures to the component level and repair washers, dryers, and dishwashers.
Update customers regarding repair timelines and parts availability.
Perform washer, dryer, and dishwasher calibrations and testing on a recurring schedule.
Inspect equipment daily for leaks and operational issues; replace worn components as needed.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment and follow safety protocols.
