Job summary

Aaron’s, Inc. is seeking an Appliance Technician to diagnose and repair consumer appliances in the Service Center. You will complete service orders, estimate non-warranty repairs, and research product information to determine warranty status.

Applicants should understand common electronics, be able to troubleshoot to modular level, and read schematics. Basic PC skills and EPA certification are preferred; 2 years of tech experience is desired.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of consumer electronics or appliances required or preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot to modular level.
• Ability to read schematics and research information.
• Basic PC skills to use service software and vendor sites.
• No minimum experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Type I EPA Certification preferred for appliance techs.

Responsibilities

• Documents service orders accurately.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment.
• Performs repairs per manufacturer specs and efficiently.
• Communicates with store associates about product usage and training.
