Job summary

Openwork is seeking a detail-oriented Kitting & Assembly Material Handler in Cartersville, GA. You will build assemblies from blueprints, perform precise kitting, and support inventory control in a modern facility.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using hand tools, measuring precisely, and logging material data in ERP/Office tools. Requires basic math, the ability to stand for long periods, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to read blueprints, prints and job instructions
• Proficient with hand tools and basic computer systems (Excel, Word, Outlook or ERP tools)
• Strong math skills including decimal calculations and weight measurements
• Able to stand, bend and perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 25–50 lbs
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Read travelers, work orders and blueprints to identify parts and verify components
• Assemble components using basic hand tools
• Measure components and materials using tape measure and decimal system
• Perform precise math and inventory calculations for kitting and weight measurements
• Use ERP, Excel, Word, Outlook or Google Workspace to track materials and document tasks
• Work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with PPE
