ProMach is seeking an Assembly Technician for our Statham, GA facility. The role focuses on assembling routine precision mechanical assemblies, fitting components, calibrating units, aligning parts, and testing complete machines.

You will read engineering prints, use a range of hand and power tools, and ensure adherence to quality standards. The position reports to the Manufacturing Manager and requires 0-1 year of assembler experience, basic tool use, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent.
• 0-1-year experience as an assembler.
• Good mental and visual abilities, with dexterity and high attention to detail.
• Basic use of hand tools; socket set, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers.
• Good knowledge of precision measuring procedures.
• Good math skills including fractions.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
• Travel up to 30% and overtime as required.

Responsabilités

• Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and some electrical assembly operations.
• Fit, align and adjust components on a machine for testing with limited supervision.
• Assist in testing and final adjustments of machines.
• May assist in on-site installation of machines.
• Follow quality and assembly standards; use hand and power tools.
• Read engineering prints/specifications to determine assembly requirements.
• Inspect parts for machining finish and dimensions; verify conformance to specs.
