Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Calibration Technician in Rensselaer, NY to support manufacturing operations by calibrating instrumentation, performing loop checks, and assisting with plant maintenance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and follow routine procedures independently as well as part of a team.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
• Participating in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and overall familiarity with computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, level, flow, and analytical instruments.
• Perform loop check, tune, troubleshoot, and start-up of instrumentation.
• Work with medium and low voltages.
• Perform basic plumbing and tube bending jobs.
• Assist the FM-M process and Clean Utility technicians in troubleshooting facilities and process issues.
• Perform daily Work Orders (WO) and Preventive Maintenance (PM), and coordinate the workflow and documentation.
• Communicate with departments and Facilities Management on planned and unplanned work events.
• Schedule outside contractors/vendors for PM or general work as needed.
• Participate in compliance investigations as necessary.
