Job summary

Teledyne API (TAPI) is seeking a Repair Depot Technician to diagnose and repair Teledyne API gas analyzers and air quality instruments. You will diagnose failures across mechanical, electronic, and software domains, then repair or calibrate units to minimize downtime.

The role reports to the Repair Depot Supervisor and involves coordinating with engineering and production to implement improvements, ensuring quality service for a broad customer base.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a service-related environment for electronic, pneumatic, and electromechanical instrumentation.
• Strong problem solving with attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot logically.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• General computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures.
• Repair and calibrate Teledyne API instruments to minimize customer downtime.
• Support feedback to engineering and production for product improvements.
• Interact with technical support and engineering for troubleshooting on listed gas instrumentation and PM10/PM2.5 instrumentation.
