Job summary

Minaris is seeking an Instrumentation and Calibration Technician at the Allendale site to provide calibration services across GMP and non-GMP areas. You’ll calibrate instruments, log data, manage CMMS records, and support multiple departments to ensure accurate measurements and compliance with quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years calibration experience, comfort with CMMS, and the ability to train for gowning in classified manufacturing areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years general calibration experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical/Life Sciences/medical device preferred.
• Demonstrated diagnostic and problem-solving skills in a team environment.
• General computer competency using email, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Must train and become gown qualified to enter and work in classified manufacturing areas.
• Maintain 100% training records for all required training.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate a variety of measurement and/or control instrumentation, including controllers, indicators, transmitters, and loggers.
• Complete calibration data sheets in CMMS as required.
• Assist in managing contractors and reviewing their service reports for compliance.
• Assist in identifying critical spare parts for maintenance or repairs.
• Complete inspections of devices and relative labeling.
• Perform preventative maintenance on instrumentation such as incubators, centrifuges, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Maintain records of equipment ensuring compliant Test Accuracy Ratios.
• Review contractor paperwork for technical accuracy and compliance with GDP/CGMP.
