Responsibilities

• Read packaging documents to determine product specifications.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products to standards.
• Remove finished packaged items from the machine and separate rejected items.
• Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur and report them to a supervisor.
• Stock and sort products for packaging or filling operation and replenish packaging supplies.
• Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.
• Monitor the production line for hazards, jams, or problems.
• Record operational data such as finished and rejected items.
• Assemble corrugated shipping containers, trays, and boxes.
• Perform final inspection of product for proper stack height.
