Job summary

Pacific Rubber & Packing is seeking a Quality Inspector for final inspection in San Carlos, CA. You will conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections, using precision tools and CMM/Keyence systems, ensuring products meet drawings, specs, and ISO 9001 requirements.

You will collaborate with Production and Quality teams to uphold quality and containment, reporting to the Quality Manager in a hands-on manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on experience with manual inspection tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs
• High attention to detail with the ability to remain focused during repetitive tasks
• Experience performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections
• Strong problem-solving skills and quality mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 for documentation and reporting

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and components
• Conduct in‑process and final inspections to verify conformance to drawings and specifications
• Use manual inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and Pi Tape
• Operate CMM and/or Keyence systems (based on experience)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and basic GD&T
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records
• Identify, segregate, and support disposition of non‑conforming material
• Assist with containment activities and corrective actions as needed
• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to maintain product compliance
• Maintain focus and consistency while performing repetitive inspection tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of quality and operational objectives
