Job summary

Pacific Rubber & Packing is seeking a Quality Inspector for final inspection in San Carlos, CA. You will conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections, using precision tools and CMM/Keyence systems, ensuring products meet drawings, specs, and ISO 9001 requirements.

You will collaborate with Production and Quality teams to uphold quality and containment, reporting to the Quality Manager in a hands-on manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on experience with manual inspection tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs
• High attention to detail with the ability to remain focused during repetitive tasks
• Experience performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections
• Strong problem-solving skills and quality mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 for documentation and reporting

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and components

The Role

As a Quality Inspector at Pacific Rubber, you are a critical safeguard between production and customer confidence. You'll perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring products meet customer specifications, workmanship standards, and ISO 9001 requirements.

This is a hands-on inspection role in a manufacturing environment. Most of your day will be spent performing manual dimensional inspections using precision tools such as Pi Tape, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and visual inspection equipment. You'll also work with advanced systems such as CMM and Keyence, depending on experience.

You'll collaborate closely with Production and Quality teams to support compliance, containment, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role reports to the Quality Manager and is on-site in San Carlos, CA.
