Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Inspector B in Linthicum, MD to perform detailed process and product inspections on complex electro-mechanical assemblies. You will verify conformance, record deviations, and support development programs with precision measuring.

The role requires high attention to detail, the ability to use precision tools, and compliance with QC standards. This is an IBEW union position on a 5th shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass Inspector B validated test.
• Experience with electro-mechanical assemblies and QC inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform process and product inspections on purchased/assembled parts.
• Record deviations and compute dimensions (thickness, angles, etc.).
• Conduct first piece, patrol, PCA and final inspections on LRUs and assemblies.
• Inspect welds, castings, sheet metal, and fixtures per specs.
• Maintain clean work area and calibration records.
