Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks an Inspector B to determine overall product compliance by performing process and product inspections for development and production programs.

You will inspect electro‑mechanical LRUs, perform first piece and final inspections, and verify conformance to specifications using diverse measurement tools and procedures while maintaining a safe, organized work area. This is a 4th shift role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Must pass a validated Inspector B Test.

Responsibilities

• Determine and utilize inspection procedures, set up inspection tools and equipment as needed.
• Make necessary measurements and calibrations on precision inspection equipment.
• Inspect shipment and shipping paperwork to applicable specifications and sign to verify acceptance.
• Perform non‑destructive inspection such as dye penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, and review X‑ray film.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition; document calibration records.
