Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Cincinnati, OH seeks an Inspection C / Receiving Inspection specialist to inspect highly complex products including microelectronics, precision mechanical assemblies, and PWB components to ensure quality, safety, reliability, and traceability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years relevant experience, or 2-year degree with 2 years related experience.
• Experience inspecting microelectronics, PWB components, and assemblies to meet specs and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
• Familiarity with J-STD, MIL-STD, and PWB inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of components and assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications and workmanship standards.
• Review technical drawings, key product/process characteristics, sampling plans, Inspection Plans, BOMs.
• Identify potential product quality concerns and communicate with PQE/SQE for corrective actions.
• Operate optical inspection equipment such as optical comparators (14", 16", 30").
• Utilize inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, scales, thread gauges and plug gauges.
• Review Certifications of Conformance and incoming COTS documentation for deviations.
• Support and interface with Supplier Quality and Program Quality teams as needed.
• Possess or obtain a US security clearance if required for position.
