Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of related experience; without a degree, 8 years of related experience.
• 1+ years of lead-root cause analysis and continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and gaging; or 1+ years with automated electronic assembly.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase orders, contracts, and specifications to determine quality requirements and ensure they are met across all project stages.
• Prepare Certifications of Conformance for materials and services delivered to Government/customers, and review related documentation.
• Coordinate with Government/customers for source inspections and serve as main interface upon final acceptance.
• Manage inspection points in manufacturing and create first article packages with suppliers and teams.
• Support review of processes with the program team and assist in failure investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide input as a peer reviewer of inspection plans and contract line items.
• Assist in product/process development and transition from development to production.
• Possibly participate in bid/proposal responses and customer communications; maintain a cooperative, professional work environment.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
