Job summary

• Hands‑on experience operating lathes, mills, drill presses, and surface grinders.
• Ability to read blueprints and machine to exact specifications.
• Skill in machining threads, tapered shafts, and precision components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely in dynamic industrial environments.
• A mindset rooted in accuracy, consistency, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and surface grinders to machine precision components.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate measurements, tolerances, and final specifications.
• Machine threads, tapered shafts, and other critical ship components.
• Maintain machining tools and equipment in safe, optimal operating condition.
• Work in various shipyard environments and support production requirements.
• Must be available to work any shift in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
