O'Neil Digital Solutions is seeking an Inserter Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. You will set up, operate, and maintain inserting equipment to fold and insert materials into envelopes and sacks.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in printing or mail inserting preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Honesty, integrity and personal accountability in work.
• Ability to read postal statements and job tickets.
• Effective communication in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with co-workers to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Set up inserting equipment at the beginning of each job according to the job ticket.
• Insert address tags into mail sacks or mail trays for bulk mailing of IDs, kits, and catalogs.
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot problems, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Keep the work area clean and follow safety regulations.
• Read and interpret postal statements; sort mail accordingly.
• Make adjustments to return output to specifications.
• Direct and supervise helpers on the machine.
• Detect defective materials and report to the department manager.
• Communicate status of jobs to the department manager.
• Follow standard operating procedures per department guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
