Saint-Gobain Performance Polymer Solutions in Rhode Island is seeking an Injection Molding Technician, 1st Shift, to set up, optimize, and troubleshoot injection molding processes, delivering high-quality thermoplastic parts and supporting continuous improvement with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams.

You will follow blueprints and work orders, run new production jobs, and perform detailed inspections; maintain 5S, safety, and equipment; handle deburring, bagging, and routine preventive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and job orders.
• 5+ years in thermoplastics processing.
• 5+ years in setup and operation of injection molds and auxiliary equipment.
• Experience with inspection equipment and quality procedures.
• Good attendance and overtime flexibility.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate an injection molding machine to produce close-tolerance plastic parts.
• Set-Up and Run New Production Jobs when scheduled.
• Ensure parts meet customer requirements with detailed inspection reports.
• Run production safely while measuring critical dimensions.
• Deburr, bag, and stage parts per router steps.
• Maintain 5S in the workspace before, during, and after shifts.
