Pelican Products in South Deerfield, MA is seeking a Mold Repair Technician for the 1st shift. You will prepare, balance, and repair molds to support production uptime and product quality in a safe manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, basic math for mold setup, and experience operating shop tools. forklift certification and welding experience are a plus, with opportunities to grow in maintenance and manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience with shop equipment.
• Ability to perform mold setup calculations.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pre-balance molds for production based on orders and procedures.
• Transport, stage, and set up molds using forklifts and other equipment.
• Balance mold lids and bodies for proper production setup.
• Perform mold prep including baking, screening, and wiring.
• Repair mold components using TIG/MIG welding and hand tools.
• Maintain mold logs and inventory for production readiness.
