Job summary

Prysmian Group in Rockwall, TX, is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, operate, monitor, and maintain injection molding and SMC molding production equipment. You will ensure products meet quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements in a clean, organized environment.

The role requires adherence to SOPs and safety regulations, with a focus on identifying issues, maintaining equipment, and supporting continuous production. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and control production machinery and equipment used in Injection Molding and SMC Molding processes.
• Read and interpret work orders, specifications, assembly instructions, and production schedules.
• Assemble products according to production standards and established guidelines.
• Inspect and measure finished products to verify compliance with quality requirements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Handle, position, move, and prepare materials required for production processes.
• Monitor production output and ensure production quotas, deadlines, and quality standards are met.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, and safety issues.
• Perform basic equipment checks and maintain equipment in safe working condition.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
