Qualifications

• 3+ years molding plastics processing and maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in machine start-up and shutdown; basic machine knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must speak, read, comprehend and write in English.
• Basic data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate material handling, molding, finishing and assembly equipment.
• Manage mold changes and machine adjustments; start up and shut down molding machines.
• Operate forklift for moving molds and changes.
• Fill out daily process records to control machine conditions.
• Perform minor repairs, inspect machines hourly for quality parts, and report scrap.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping; uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting production quality and efficiency.
• Provide input on process improvements to engineering.
