Job summary

Southeastern Container, Inc. is a leading PET bottle and preform manufacturer supplying the Coca-Cola bottling system across the East Coast and Midwest. The Injection Machine Operator role covers start-up, operation, monitoring, and changeovers to ensure quality preforms and parts.

The position requires safe operation of molding equipment, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to work a 12-hour shift with overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and safety rules.
• Basic math skills and accurate record keeping of production data.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn injection molding equipment.
• Ability to perform or support material and product changeovers.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift with required overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely start, stop, set up, and operate injection molding machines and crane system per procedures.
• Monitor resin and colorant feed and coordinate color changes as scheduled.
• Verify product meets quality specs and report issues to leadership.
• Troubleshoot minor process/equipment issues and calibrate as needed.
• Perform required tests on preforms and report out-of-spec products.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and complete production and quality reports on time.
