Job summary

Southeastern Container seeks an Injection Machine Operator to run and monitor injection molding machines and related support equipment. You will perform start-up, shutdown, changeovers, quality testing, and routine maintenance to ensure products meet specifications.

The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, basic math, the ability to read work instructions, and effective communication with team leaders. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, safety rules, quality specs, production schedules, and equipment procedures.
• Basic math skills and reliable record-keeping of production, scrap, and quality information.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to learn injection molding equipment and process controls.

Responsibilities

• Safely start, stop, set up, and operate injection molding machines and crane systems.
• Monitor resin, colorant feeds, and equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Perform product changeovers and quality tests per specs.
• Document scrap, maintenance, and quality data accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report hazardous conditions.
