Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Tool Technician to maintain and repair injection molding molds on a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a competitive up-to-$100,000 annual pay. The role requires 3+ years of tool and die repair experience, manual machining skills, precision measuring with micrometers and calipers, mold welding, and hot runner troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in tool and die repair for injection molding preferred.
• Machining skills including lathe, mill, and surface grinder used for mold work.
• Experience reading CAD/CAM blueprints or technical drawings.
• Ability to use micrometers and calipers for precise measurements.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, repair, and optimal performance of injection molding molds.
• Coordinate with production scheduler to plan preventive maintenance.
• Drive continuous process improvements in mold handling and setup.
• Troubleshoot hot runner systems and mold-related issues.
