Job summary

Randstad USA seeks a Master-Level Tooling & Repair Technician to maintain and repair plastic injection molds in a high-utilization facility. You will perform preventative maintenance, implement minor engineering changes, and collaborate with engineering teams on root-cause problem-solving.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in mold making and 7+ years overall, with hands-on CNC, EDM, and milling experience. Must bring own toolbox and be able to lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• Advanced role requiring mastery of the trade.
• Own toolbox and assortment of mold tools required.
• Experience with plastic injection molds and mold repair essential.
• Proficient in CNC, EDM, and milling operations.
• Ability to read tooling prints and circuit diagrams.
• Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tools in optimal operating condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor engineering changes.
• Troubleshoot and repair tooling.
• Assist in training associates in tool care.
• Ensure inventory levels for replacement parts.
