Job summary

Our client in East Moline is seeking aMachine Operator to join the Production Department. The role involves assembling and disassembling foam fixtures, operating foaming and bead blasting equipment, and handling lathes or CNC mills.

The candidate should be detail oriented, able to read blueprints, and work well in a team environment. The position requires physical stamina, safety compliance, and the ability to train on additional equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of standing, bending, twisting, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks for long hours.
• Commitment to working consistently and safely.
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to train on additional equipment (forklifts, hoists, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Ability to understand and complete departmental paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble various types of foam fixtures.
• Operate foaming, undercoating, and bead blasting equipment.
• Operate manual lathes, CNC mills, Bridgeports.
• Work from blueprints and schematics.
• Perform duties assigned by the supervisor and maintain logs.
