Job summary

Our Prospect, CT client manufactures fan fold foam insulation and seeks a Machine Operator for the molding and expansion department. You will operate molding and expansion machinery, perform general production tasks, and inspect products during processing to ensure quality.

This position offers a four-day work week, medical benefits with the company covering 65%, and the potential for a $2 per hour raise after permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.
• Experience in warehouse or labor environments is required.
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on problem solving.
• Background operating molding, expanding, or CNC is a plus.
• Machine setup and manipulation experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general production operations on the line.
• Operate molding and expansion machines.
• Inspect in-process items and finished products.
• Troubleshoot machinery and quality issues.
• Maintain documentation for plant operations.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Perform other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Our client makes fan fold foam insulation and is located in Prospect with two locations down the street from each other. They have 45 employees between the two facilities. They are seekingcandidates with a background in manufacturing to work as a Machine Operator in the molding and expansion department.

Responsibilities:

• Performs general production operation.
• Operating the molding and expansion machines.
• Inspects in process plus the finished products.
• Troubleshoots machine or quality issues.
• Maintains documentation and performs administrative tasks relevant to plant operations.
• Ensures work area is manitained and in order and is free of items, carts and machinery not in use to mitigate any safety hazards.
• Perform other misc. tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prior warehouse/labor environment experience.
• Mechanically Inclined.
• Must have machine operating background, in molding, expanding or CNC experience a plus.
• Must have machine setup and manipulation background.
• Forklift Experience a plus

Pay Rate:

$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

Mon 6:00 PM - Thurs 4:30 AM (4 day workweek)
