Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Hydraulic Technician in Ohio to disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble hydraulic systems in accordance with manufacturer specs and safety standards.

The role requires 2–3 years of hydraulic maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license if applicable, and the ability to handle physical tasks in a dynamic shop environment. Flexibility for nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years repairing hydraulic components.
• Ability to read measurements and specs.
• Must pass pre-employment testing.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and inspect hydraulic rod cylinders.
• Measure dimensions to thousandths of an inch.
• Determine repairs and assemble cylinders.
• Test assembled cylinders for proper function.
• Operate Microfinishing machine.
• Install components and perform routine housekeeping.
• Maintain repair records in the computer.
• May assist in other hydraulic shop areas.
• Work flexible hours, nights and weekends as needed.
• Maintain safety standards per manufacturer specs.
