Yates Industries, Inc. seeks a dependable assembler to build hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders per blueprints and specifications. You will read diagrams, install seals, pistons, rods, and end caps, and perform quality checks during assembly to ensure safe, reliable components.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Capable of reading tape measures and micrometers accurately.
Prior heavy assembly experience is a plus.
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilités

Assemble hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders according to blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
Install seals, pistons, rods, end caps, and other cylinder components with accuracy and efficiency.
Inspect parts for defects, proper fit, and quality prior to and during assembly.
Perform pressure and functional testing of completed cylinders to verify performance and safety standards.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, etc.) during assembly.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Communicate issues with parts, materials, or equipment to supervisors or quality control staff.
Assist with continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
Operate a forklift and pallet jack.
