Job summary

Poclain Hydraulics Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician for our 3rd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will hand-assemble hydraulic motors and subcomponents, following engineering drawings, SOPs, and torque specs, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

You will use manual and pneumatic tools, read blueprints, and document production data while maintaining a safe, clean workstation and adhering to 5S standards. Standing 8–10 hours and lifting up to 45 lbs are routine.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of the assembly process.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with manual and powered assembly tools.
• English literacy required for work documents.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic motors and subcomponents per drawings and specs.
• Install seals, bearings, shafts and rotating components with hand tools.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Lift up to 45 lbs and stand 8–10 hours.
• Read instructions, record data and maintain quality records.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements and maintain 5S workspace.
