Job summary

Poclain Hydraulics is seeking a reliable Assembly Technician for our 1st shift in Sturtevant, WI. The role involves mechanical assembly of hydraulic motors and subcomponents, using hand and power tools, torque specs, and calibrated equipment.

You will read drawings, follow SOPs, and perform quality inspections to maintain production targets. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to stand 8–10 hours.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed instructions in English.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with manual and powered assembly tools and torque specs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic components and motors per drawings, SOPs, and torque specs.
• Operate hand and powered tools; ensure proper fit and alignment.
• Handle materials and parts; read quality check sheets and document data.
• Perform in-process quality inspections and identify nonconforming components.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE and 5S workplace standards.
