Job summary

Poclain Hydraulics in Sturtevant, WI seeks an Assembly Technician for the 2nd shift (2:45 pm–11:15 pm) to assemble hydraulic motors and subcomponents on a fast-paced line. You will read engineering drawings, use torque tools, perform quality checks and ensure safe, efficient production.

The role requires standing 8–10 hours, lifting up to 45 lbs, and strong mechanical aptitude. Training and growth opportunities are available in a global hydraulic leader.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with torque specifications and measurement devices.
• Ability to follow written and verbal English instructions.
• Proficient with manual and powered assembly tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic motors and subcomponents per drawings, SOPs and torque specs.
• Install seals, bearings, shafts and rotating parts using manual/pneumatic tools.
• Perform in-process quality inspections and document results.
• Maintain 5S and safe work practices at the workstation.
• Read assembly drawings and quality sheets in English.
