Qualifications

• Proven skill with oxy‑acetylene torch operation and flame tuning.
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly diagrams to ensure correct joints.
• Strong emphasis on safety and precise, leak-free brazing quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble coil components per blueprints and work instructions.
• Braze and solder copper tubing and fittings using torch equipment.
• Control flame, filler, and heat time for leak-free, clean joints.
• Prepare joints by cleaning, aligning, and applying flux.
• Conduct leak and pressure tests; rework defects as needed.
• Maintain brazing tools and log production data.
• Follow safety practices for hot work and pressurized systems.
• Assist with training new brazers or operators as needed.
