StaffBuffalo, LLC is seeking a Hand Grind & Polish Technician in Buffalo, NY to deburr, grind, and polish steel and aluminum parts per blueprints and specs. You’ll use pneumatic and hand tools to achieve precise finishes and install Helicoils/Keenserts, ensuring quality requirements are met.

The role emphasizes dependability, mechanical aptitude, and precision, with cross-training across manufacturing areas. Onsite, full-time position with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Approximately 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and pneumatic tools.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, prints, and customer specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent, high‑quality finished components.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to follow established safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
• Dependable, organized, and willing to learn and cross‑train in other areas of manufacturing.
• Experience operating overhead cranes is preferred but training will be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Deburr, grind, and polish machined steel and aluminum components according to blueprints, customer specifications, and established quality requirements.
• Operate pneumatic and hand tools safely and effectively to remove burrs and achieve specified surface finishes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and work instructions to ensure components meet required specifications.
• Install Helicoils, Keenserts, and related inserts into manufactured components as required.
• Clean and wash completed parts while inspecting work for quality and accuracy.
• Follow established safety procedures, PPE requirements, company policies, and ISO standards.
• Cross‑train and assist within other manufacturing departments as needed to support production requirements.
