Responsabilités

• Perform deburring, grinding, and polishing operations on machined metal parts (steel & aluminum) to meet customer requirements and blueprints.
• Utilize pneumatic and manual tools to produce high-quality surface finishes and defect-free components.
• Review and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and prints to ensure specifications are met.
• Install threaded inserts (Helicoils/Keenserts) into manufactured components as required.
• Perform visual inspections while cleaning finished parts to maintain quality standards.
• Comply with safety procedures, PPE, ISO standards, and company policies.
• Cross-train for other departments to provide support as needed.
• Work well in a team environment or independently; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

HAND GRIND & POLISH TECHNICIAN (Permanent) Our client, a manufacturing organization headquartered in WNY, is looking to add a Hand Grind & Polish Technician to their growing team. This position is located in the Northtowns and is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who is looking for long-term growth opportunities in a stable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform deburring, grinding, and polishing operations on machined metal parts (steel & aluminum) ensuring results follow customer requirements, match blueprint specifications, and achieve established quality standards
• Utilize pneumatic and manual tools to produce high-quality, specified surface finishes and defect-free components
• Review and interpret technical documentation—work instructions, blueprints, & prints—to ensure products meet required specifications
• Install threaded inserts, including Helicoils and Keenserts, into manufactured components according to production requirements
• Perform visual assessments while cleaning and washing finished parts to maintain quality standards
• Ensure compliance is maintained with all safety procedures, PPE requirements, ISO standards, and company policies
• Cross-train for other department to provide assistance and support when production requires it
• Work well in a team environment as well as independently
• Other duties as assigned/as necessary

Details:

• Position is full-time, direct hire
  
• 100% in-office; 1 st shift: 7:30am-3:30pm
