Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related machine operation experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Detail-oriented with good teamwork and safety awareness.
• Proficiency with basic math and logs/records.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual assembly tasks such as sorting, counting, labeling, and packaging components or products.
• Verify packaging is free of loose components, debris, setup parts, or test parts.
• Visually check the station to ensure tooling is correct and parts are secure.
• Check components against prints to ensure correct parts are in the tray.
• Verify components with travel cards and work order cards as a double check.
• Turn on the machine and ensure guards and light curtains are in good condition.
• Place band and housing on the mandrel and press with the foot pedal.
• Perform quality checks per the control plan and document accordingly.
• Handle and store gages properly; return to inspection after use.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assembly area.
