Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a skilled CNC operator to join our Gas Services manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC machines across multiple operations, interpreting complex drawings and using manual tooling when required.

This role emphasizes safety and quality. Requirements include 3 years of CNC experience, the ability to read programs, forklift/crane licenses, and the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a process operator competency test.

Qualifications

• 3 years of CNC experience with ability to read and understand programs.
• Forklift/crane license required; ability to read complex drawings and perform metrology.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and pass a Process Operator Competency Test.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, welding, bonding, and manual tools.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs and follow safety/quality culture.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of manufacturing facilities using CNC controls for multiple operations.
• Interpret detailed drawings and use appropriate tools to perform machining operations.
• Load/unload parts using cranes or forklifts and assist crane operator.
