Adecco Staffing is partnering with a high-level manufacturing facility in Laconia, NH to hire Setup Operators on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will set up machines in the Grinding Department and perform finish grinding to tight tolerances on ferrous and non-ferrous parts.

The role requires reading drawings, selecting speeds/feeds, and monitoring tooling to ensure parts meet production standards. Overtime may be needed, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints/spec sheets from engineering.
• Follow established procedures and instructions.
• Maintain production levels and quality standards.
• Identify and report irregularities in parts or workmanship.

Responsabilités

• Read drawings and process sheets to set up grinding machines.
• Finish grind parts such as balls, races, bushings, and bearings within tolerances.
• Select speeds and feeds; set tooling and monitor machine performance.
• Change grinding wheels and diamond tools as needed.
• Run first piece and obtain department approval for production.
• Maintain gauging blocks, masters, and inspection records.
• Operate multiple machines and use precision measuring tools.
• Report malfunctions and keep work area clean and safe.
